Product Description
The Soxhlet extractor is a commonly used laboratory instrument, primarily designed for the continuous and efficient extraction of soluble components from solid samples. lt is especially suitable for extracting fats, oils, and other organic substances that are easily soluble in specific solvents. The design of this device is based on the principles of reflux and siphoning, achieving continuous soaking and extraction of the sample by repeated heating and cooling processes.

♣1.New High Borosilicate 3.3 Material
High temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high light transmit-tance, and low thermal expansion coefficient. lt has high strength and hardness, good wear resistance, and is not easily deformed or cracked. It is strong, durable, and remains stable over time
♣2.Customizable Services Available
Customization can be provided based on the characteris
♣1.Extraction flask:
Typically around-bottom flask used to hold thesolvent and for heating.
♣2.Condenser: Connected above the extraction flask, it condenses the gaseous solvent back into liquid form, which then returns to the ex-traction tube.
♣3.Extraction tube or funnel:
Locatedbelow the condenser,it contains the solid sample to be extracted and has a siphon tube at the bottom to create a siphon effect.
♣4.Filter paper cartridge or filter bag:
Used to wrap the solid sample, ensuring that only the solution containing the target compound passes through into the extraction flask.
♣1.Wrap the sample in defatted filter paper and place it in the extraction tupe
♣2.Add an appropriate solvent such as petroleum ether, to the extraction flask
♣3.Heat the extraction flask to evaporate the solvent.causing it to rise to the condenser
♣4.The condensed solvent drips into the extraction tube, continuously washing the sample
♣5.When the solvent in the extraction tube reaches a certain level, it automatically flows into the extraction flask through the siphon tube
♣6.Repeat this cycle until the soluble components in the sample are fully extracted
